Our Day in Nanjing

My trip to Beijing

I am having a lot of fun in Beiing. First we went to the silk factory. Then we went to the Temple of Heaven. After that, the funnest part that we did was the Great Wall because we went up on a ski lift and we came down on a toboggan type slide. We went twice since it was so much fun. We also went as fast as it would go. We're about to go on an airplane to Nanjing. Then we will stay there for 1 week. I got new toys and a new silk dress and comforter. It's very comfortable. There's also a 3 year old girl named Kylee and a 9 year old like me for me to play with. Tomorrow we get my baby sister, Karli. I got some silkworm cocoons, but they are dead. I also got some things that looks like a keychain and mean Good Luck and Good Fortune. When we got off the very, very long plane ride, they lost my luggage. I had to sleep in my clothes. I didn't get it back until the next day, very late at night.

New Pictures of Karli

We received new pictures of Karli. These were taken yesterday. She looks so cute.

Wow!  Can you believe August 2 marked 1 whole year since we got Kenzie's referral? I can't. Time passes so much faster with Kenzie here.  I don't know why.  I can always play with her except for she's napping. I hate it when she naps. I have to be really quiet, and it's no fun. 

So, remember my last update when I said my mom was going alone to get Karli?  Well I was wrong.  My dad said if I could earn $1,500 in 4 or 5 months I could go too! So far it's only been about 2 and a half months and I've earned $1030.33 already.  I am earning the money by dog sitting other people's dogs.  I am also weaving pot holders to sell.

When I'm in China, I want to go on the Great Wall.  I am going to use some of the money I've earned for souveniers.  I am going to try to earn $500 extra dollars in addition to the $1,500, so I can buy a camera to take on my trip.  I am excited that my mom and I will be the first ones from our family to see Karli.  I can't wait to ride an airplane.  I've ridden one before, but I was a toddler, so I don't remember.  The ride will probably be boring on the way there.  On the way back, I'll have to help with Karli, so I'll be busy.

Last night my grandma spent the night with us.  There was a tropical storm heading for Houston, and my grandma lives in a trailer.  She did not want to stay at her trailer in case the winds were too strong.  However, the only thing we got was a lot of rain.

Another Child

Hi it's been a long time since I've wrote but a lot's been happening around here,and guess what are we adopting again. Her names going to be Karli she's really cute,and she's also from China. Karli she's going to be almost three when we get her, but she's deaf in one ear. My mom is going to China alone this time because it costs a lot of money to buy tickets for the airplane. I got a new laptop well actually it's not new because it used to be my dad's but my dad got a new one, it's so cool it's black and apple mine is apple too.I'm making my mom a picture of my family for mother's day and it's going to be good i'll try to take a picture for you if I can but I'm not a very good artist. My sister Kayla and I are watching a dog each for 10 day's and we're earning $50 each just for watching them but we have to wait until june 2 all the way to june 12 it's going to be major fun I can't wait that's all now and THAT'S THE INSIDE SCOOP.

They're Back

Well my mom's back and so is baby. Like I said I am am going to fill you in on what happened in the hospital. Well the story of the hospital all started when my mom was taking my baby sister Kenzie to the doctor. The doctor said that my mom should give Kenzie more bottles. My grandma was with her at the time and said that they have been giving Kenzie bottles but she wouldn't drink her bottles. So they argued and finally the doctor said that the only other thing they could do was put Kenzie in the hospital. My grandma and my mom agreed. They put her in the hospital and my mom stayed with Kenzie through the night. I stayed with my grandma. My mom came home the next evening. We cleaned the whole house while they were at the hospital to get the sick germs out of here. I helped with the clothes and my older sister did the bathrooms and my grandma also did the clothes and my younger six year old brother did the movies. We sprayed all of the baby's toys with Lysol. When Kenzie got home with mom I ran to the door to meet them. On Kenzie's hand I saw a bandage where they put the needle in. When my mom took it off the bandage was all bloody.

The Hospital

Hi my mom is in the hospital with the Baby because she has rotovirus. I am staying home with my grandma and right now we are watching T.V. and tomorrow I am going to tell you mostly everything about my moms and baby's trip to the hospital. My brother is at a boy scout meeting and my sister just updated her Blog you might want to check it out it's real cool.I cant wait till Christmas we set up our tree like we always do it was super duper fun we got to put on all the ornaments on it and we even put up our socking by the chimney. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays besides Easter I cant wait.
